Privacy policy
What this site collects
Toolrack has no accounts, no sign-up and no contact forms that store data. Everything you type into a tool — text, files, images, amounts, dates — is processed in your browser and never sent to a server. There is no upload endpoint on this site to send it to.
What is stored on your device
Some things are saved locally so the site is usable rather than forgetful. All of it stays on your device, none of it is transmitted, and you can delete every item below with one button.
- Theme — whether you chose light, dark or the system setting.
- Recently used tools — the slugs of tools you opened, so the homepage can list them. Tool names only, never what you did in them.
- Tool settings — one entry per tool for its selects, checkboxes, sliders and colours. Deliberately never the text or numbers you type: a loan amount, a birth date or a password being hashed must not reach the disk.
- Exchange rates — the public rate table the currency converter last downloaded, so it keeps working offline. The same list of numbers for every visitor; it says nothing about you.
- Offline copies of pages — a service worker keeps copies of pages and files you have already opened, which is what makes the site work without a connection. Copies of this site's own pages, nothing else.
Requests to other services
The tools run offline, with one exception worth stating plainly: the
currency converter downloads its
exchange-rate table from open.er-api.com when you open that page.
Like any web request, that reveals your IP address and browser to that
provider. What it does not send is anything of yours — the amount, the
currencies and the result never leave your browser; the page only downloads a
public list of rates that is identical for every visitor.
No other tool contacts anything. If you never open the currency converter, no third-party service is contacted at all.
Analytics
Aggregate traffic statistics are collected using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It records page URLs, referrers, country and browser type. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and cannot identify individual visitors.
Advertising
This site does not currently display advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any ad code is served.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links to products may be affiliate links, meaning a commission is earned on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence calculator results or recommendations.
Your rights
No personal data is held on any server, so there is no account to close and nothing for us to export or erase — we could not identify your data if you asked. What exists is the device-local storage listed above, which is yours to delete at any time, either with the button on this page or by clearing site data in your browser settings.
